London team day out

Before our team is dispanded after the re-structure and the resignation of our boss we finally got around to having our team away day. The final decision was to do the tourist thing in London. So after meeting up at the London Eye(giant ferris wheel)

we took a tour on a DUK(some wierd army acronym for a bus that's a boat). This took us all around the sights of London then after an hour of driving launched itself into the Thames in a similar way Bond did in his little black water craft right next to MI-6(or is it 5?). We then hooned up the Thames at about 5knots and saw London from the water.

Then we went to a Belgian Restaurant for muscles, chips and Belgian beer. A great combination.

Then after lunch we saw some celebrities. As you do in London.

Kylie kept climbing on the piano while I was trying to play - attention seeker Penelope and I, we were looking at the wrong camera. So many paparazzi. Nicolas Cage Billy Connelly. He's not as funny in real life.
Beyonce Britney upside down. She wouldn't share her pole. Penelope up close The incredible hulk. He wasn't that incredible, he was big though.

Regaining some pride

After a humilitating defeat in football(aka Soccer) a few weeks ago we won some pride back today with a 6-2 win. I play with a bunch of guys from work weekly indoors at a local gym then every now and then we challenge random teams. This random team was from a church in Watford(outskirts of London) where one of the guys in the HR department attends.

Wuv... twoo wuv.

Went to London today and after a Starbucks Grande Latte fuelled rendezvous came back attached. The pleasant journey back to MK was hindered only slightly by an incident with a closing underground train door and a head!

More on this later, maybe even some photos.

Warwick Castle

Went to Warwick Castle today(or Caahstle as some people say) with a group of people from work. As they say a picture paints a thousand words rather than boring you with about 28,000 words here are the pics.

Back via Oslo

I came back from my holiday via Oslo and had a little bit of time to wander around and see the sights, but most importantly catch up with another exchangee Daniel. He was an exchange student in Norway at the same time as me and is now living in Norway with Kathleen(an Aussie too) and working at the University.
